The Southern Poverty Law Center published some leaked emails about Stephen Miller starting on November 12. Miller is the individual that influences Donald Trump’s immigration policies. The Miller emails are email he sent to Breitbart in 2015.
According to the publication there were 900 emails that Miller sent to Breitbart between March 2, 2015 and June 27, 2016. The emails clearly show that Miller is anti-immigrant and holds racist views. According to the publication, Miller championed the idea of “white genocide”. One of the myth’s espoused by white nationalists is the idea that dark-skinned people rape white women to help eradicate the white population. Miller sent Breitbart an email on September 6, 2015 suggesting that Breitbart write about “The Camp of Saints,” a racist book pushing the myth of white women being raped by refugees.
Miller wrote in the email that the book was the “next America”.
The other issue that Miller pitched to Breitbart was the lie of “interracial crime”. Miller, like many anti-immigrants believe that immigrants cause more crimes than native-born citizens.
In other emails, Stephen Miller decried about the removal of Confederate monuments. He wanted Breitbart to write about it.
In 2015, when Chris Harper-Mercer killed nine people at Umpqua Community college in Roseburg, Oregon, Miller asked Breitbart to investigate Harper-Mercer’s “mixed race” heritage. Harper-Mercer was born in the U.S.
Miller referred to the Immigration Act of 1924 – which imposed immigration quotas on skin color – in emails to Breitbart. Miller wanted to end all immigration according to the published emails.
One of the publications that Miller often wrote about in his emails are from the so-called think tank, “Center for Immigration Studies”. The CIS attempts to portray itself as neutral on immigration focused on provided research on the topic. However, a clear bias from the CIS has revealed itself.
The Center for Immigration Studies has been advocating that immigrants impose undo burdens on the United States. Its research has been challenged by others. The CIS has focused on Hispanic immigrants as the cause of job displacement, low wages and high taxes.
The El Paso killer wrote about the “Hispanic invasion of Texas” in his manifesto. The CIS has been challenged for its studies blaming Hispanic immigrants.
Ever since Donald Trump labelled Mexicans, like me, as “rapists” there has been a clear targeting of Hispanic immigrants for hate speech. The arguments for immigrants doing it the “right way” frequently is targeted at immigrants from south of the border. Immigrants from Canada and from Europe via the international airports is absent from the conversations about border security.
Stephen Miller has been alleged to be the “architect” of much of Donald Trump’s immigration policies. His emails, as released by the Southern Poverty Law Center, add additional weight to the argument that Trump’s “border security” initiatives are nothing more than a war on immigrants, especially Mexicans.
So, if non-white illegal immigration changes the ethnic balance in the USA, that’s not racist? But it you complain about it, it is. Very hypocritical.
