Donald Trump has been trying to create the illusion that most of the country supports his xenophobic attacks on immigrants and Mexicans. Even though Trump enjoyed a majority in both houses of Congress, he was unable to muster funds to build his wall. He has blamed spineless Republicans. Unfortunately for Trump and his xenophobic friends, the country’s voters do not a wall on the southern border.

The Republicans do not want a wall. If they wanted one, they would have funded it. They didn’t. The Democrats do not want to give Donald Trump a win, so they will not fund the wall. The country’s voters also don’t want a wall. That is the fact that Trump wishes everyone would ignore.

Some readers may want to argue otherwise, but here’s the pesky little fact that will end that argument quickly.

Donald Trump has offered pardons to any official who breaks the law to build the wall.

Yes, Donald Trump understands that America does not want the wall on the southern border. So, to create the illusion his xenophobic voters need to vote for Trump, Donald Trump has ordered government officials to break the law to get the wall built by Election Day.

The only reason Donald Trump is demanding that officials break laws to build the wall is because he knows that the country does not want the wall. But he also understands that his xenophobic voters demand the wall.

Facts, such pesky nuisances.

There you have it, other than Donald Trump, only the xenophobes in America want the wall built.

  1. This xenophobe wants a wall. I hope he does it but you are right that it won’t happen. Then the next Dem POTUS will naturalize the 20MM illegals living here and overnite create a one party state and end of the Republic. Reconquista will be complete and we can begin living like Mexicans.

That’s not good news for a free press. How many journalists slain so far this year?
