As many readers know, what bothers me the most about the immigration debate is not that some American citizens want to curtail immigration. Some even want to keep immigrants, like myself, out of the country. Although I obviously do not agree, I recognize that everyone has the right to their opinion. More importantly, American citizens, as a whole have the right to vote their destinies, even if it includes closing off immigration.
However, when an immigrant demands no more immigrants then I have a problem with that.
But for the epitome of immigration hypocrisy, look no further than Donald Trump’s own family. Not only are there anchor babies, chain migrators and even marriage fraud, the whole Donald Trump family is an immigrant hodgepodge of immigration routes that most complain about today.
Rather than bore you today with a lengthy writeup, I thought I’d share a short video explaining the hypocrisy:
There will, of course, be those that argue that Trump’s children are not anchor babies. The fact is that the most public Donald Trump children are all a product of one immediate immigrant and all can trace their immigrant lineage to their grandmother and even Trump’s grandparents.
