Donald Trump hasn’t even been sworn into office yet and I am already about to document the second lie he has told those that elected him on the promises that he would make for them a better nation. Last week I pointed out how Donald Trump promised to make “America First” in all his actions but Trump refused to accept that findings of US security agencies, instead taking the word of a foreigner about alleged Russian hacking. So much for making America first. So, how’s that promised wall working out for the Donald Trump supporters?
Donald Trump launched his presidential campaign by denigrating Mexicans and Mexico. Trump promised that he was going to build a “magnificent wall” and that “Mexico would pay for it”.
He kept promising that Mexico would pay for the wall.
I still don’t believe that Trump will build a wall to cover all the US-Mexico border as he promised his supporters. Yea, he’ll build a few symbolic segments, but the wall is unlikely to be built.
However, we already know that Mexico is not going to pay for the wall.
Donald Trump and the Republicans have told you that last week.
So, who is going to pay for the wall?
You, the US taxpayer is going to pay for the wall of hate.
You, the voters who believed that Donald Trump meant what he said and would keep all his promises are going to pay for the wall.
You, who believed that Trump would keep the promises he made to you for your vote is going to pay for that “magnificent wall.”
So, how’s that wall working out for you?
Build the wall. Then, assess how it is working for us as thousands (46,000 in Nov alone) stream over our borders and the Obama Police write them a parking ticket to disappear. A nation is its borders, language and culture and if we have to build a wall to teach 3rd world Mexico that lesson, then so be it.
Oh, and one other thing: why do you suppose Mexico has allowed the Central American horde to cross its territory unhindered to our border? Is there another agenda at work here? Mexico is not our friend and we need to teach them a lesson in good neighbor behavior, starting with a wall.
