According to the latest campaign finance reports for the three runoff elections for the District Attorney’s, Texas House 77 and the sheriff’s seats, the six candidates reported spending over half-a-million dollars in combined expenditures. They also reported raising $377,619.47 in campaign contributions.

Vince Perez raised the most money. Perez raised $100,657.85. James Montoya spent the most money in his runoff campaign, spending $132,772.08.

Norma Chávez reported raising $55,107.40 and spending $60,887.70. Chavez reported having $4,248.25 left in her campaign funds.

Vince Perez raised $100,657.85 and spent $97,428.55. Perez has $7,504.60 left in campaign funds, according to his latest campaign report.

In the runoff race for the Texas House District 77 seat, the two candidates raised $155,765.25. They spent a combined total of $158,316.25.

James Montoya reported raising $45,117.89 in campaign contributions and spending $132,772.08. He reported having $29,069.72 left in his campaign chest.

Alma Trejo raised $31,654.30 and spent $120,621.70. Trejo reported having $4,577.76 left in campaign funds, and an outstanding loan to herself of $12,500.

In total, both candidates spent $253,393.78. Both candidates for the District Attorney seat reported raising $76,772.19.

Bobby Flores and Oscar Ugarte

Bobby Flores faces Oscar Ugarte for sheriff.

Bobby Flores reported raising $90,887.03 and spending $63,982.77 going into the runoff election. According to his latest campaign report, Flores reported not having any funds left. He also reported an outstanding loan of $15,000.

Oscar Ugarte reported raising $54,195 in campaign contributions and spending $45,462.32. He reported having $5,573.56 in campaign money left.

For the sheriff’s race, the candidates raised $145,082.03 and reported spending $109,445.09.

Early voting runs through Friday. Election Day is next Tuesday.
