El Paso public schools are reopening starting today. Some have delayed their reopening and others are opening with virtual teaching for a few weeks with a plan to transition towards in classroom teaching.

The following is the latest information we have. Please note that this information is subject to change in response to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic emergency. Check with the school district for the latest dates. Links provide below.

School systems will now be able to temporarily limit access to on-campus instruction for the first four weeks of school. After the first four weeks, a school system can continue to limit access to on-campus instruction for an additional four weeks, if needed, with a board-approved waiver request to TEA.
