The world is slowly waking up from the Covid-19 pandemic, although there remains much fear and uncertainty as to what the next steps are. There are reports that Coronavirus infections are increasing due to the reopening of the country. Like everyone else I’m slowly waking to life after Covid-19. We are planning to embark on our next overlanding adventure tomorrow. I’ll be off grid for the next ten days. The next posts were pre-written and will be automatically pushed to the web each morning.
We planned off-grid trips around work and school schedules last year designed to give us the opportunity to experience life disconnected from our everyday lives. We were going to live short spans of life off the internet and away from electronic entertainment and work distractions.
As my work life revolves around the internet, I had previously posted about how I was going to work while off-grid. I wrote about my planning and how I was going to work off-grid. We took off on a few adventures and then the pandemic hit.
Like everyone one else, the pandemic dramatically changed our plans and our way of life. We are still navigating through the new reality that the Coronavirus has imposed upon us.
Writing this post made me realize that it is time to seriously start thinking about how life has changed post-Covid-19. As I thought more about this, I realized that it would be fun and maybe instructional to document our experiences. Of course, I would enjoy reading the experiences of others.
Although I started a blog about post-Covid-19 (link) business it seemed like it also might be fun to write about my observations as we all navigate the post-Covid-19 world.
Has life dramatically changed? Will it return to normal? Or has “normal” changed?
The answer to those questions and many more remains unanswered. I believe it will be fun to see in real time the answer to these questions. I’ll regularly post observations on a new Instagram channel I created at @LifeAfterCovid19.
In addition to my continued opining about border politics I am also going to share some of my observations of the post-Covid-19 return to life. I’m going to label those posts as post-Covid-19 life. On this blog they well be more general in nature. Those interested in how business has changed post-Covid-19 can read my observations on my other blog here. Those interested in more frequent updates can visit my Instagram account.
