In the second day of the impeachment trial of Donald J. Trump, the House Managers kept presenting their case. Yesterday, the managers focused on Article One of the Impeachment Articles before the Senate.

Article One is Abuse of Power.

Like the day before, the managers presented their case in narrative, detailing their case as to why the House alleges that Donald J. Trump abused his authority.

As they narrated their argument, they interspersed their narratives with videos of testimony and news reports they argue bolsters their case.

It is expected that the House Managers will wrap up their three days of laying out their case with the second article of the impeachment articles.

After they conclude their third day of presenting their case, it will be the turn for Donald Trump’s lawyers to rebut what the House Managers laid out.

The question that everyone continues to ask is whether there will be a vote to call witnesses or issue subpoenas for evidence. It remains unclear what, if anything, will happen with witnesses or new evidence.

So far, the House has laid out their case a best as they can in the narrative. It has mostly been monotonous. It may end up being that Trump’s lawyers will generate more interest in their presentation. They could be up as early as Saturday when more voters can tune into their televisions sets.

This will likely lead the Trump lawyers to talk directly to the voters without the House Managers having the opportunity to rebut.
