The Democratic presidential nominee front runner seems to be Joe Biden. Biden’s supporters argue that Joe Biden is best equipped to beat Donald Trump in 2020. They are wrong.

Joe Biden is an incarnation of the Hillary Clinton debacle that delivered Donald Trump to America. We have Donald Trump today because the party politics of the Democrats believed it was Hillary Clinton’s time to be president. The Democratic political machine did not deliver the best candidate, instead they proffered the one – Clinton – that was due her turn.

Today, the Democratic political machine seems to believe that it is Joe Biden’s “turn” at the helm.

The problem is that Joe Biden is politically the same as Donald Trump when it comes to México and immigrants. It wasn’t too long ago the Biden supported a “wall”. During the 2008 presidential race argued against “sanctuary” cities while demanding that a wall be built to keep “tons” of drugs from coming into America through “corrupt Mexico”.

In 2006, the “Secure Fence Act” that authorized 700 miles of fence on the US-México border was supported by Biden, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. Biden said at the time that he voted for the fence arguing that it would do nothing to stop “illegals” from coming to America. Yes, Joe Biden uses the term “illegals” when talking about undocumented immigrants. Biden added that even if America built “a fence 40 stories high” it would do nothing to stop undocumented immigrants.

Biden continued, “people are driving across that [US-México] border with tons, tons, hear me, tons of” drugs.

Joe Biden, like Hillary Clinton, opposed allowing undocumented immigrants to get driver’s licenses.

Clearly Joe Biden believes in Donald Trump’s worst xenophobia.

This is true for the “centrist” part of the Democratic Party.

Now that everyone is gearing up to challenge Donald Trump, the Democratic Party and candidates like Joe Biden are using Trump’s immigrant hate to argue that they are better.

But are they?

Say what you will about Donald Trump, he has been consistent about his hatred of immigrants, like me. Trump doesn’t pretend he hates people like me, he just does.

But Hillary Clinton, and now Joe Biden tailor their political rhetoric to fit the dynamic of hatred created by Donald Trump by pretending to support the plight of the immigrant. Recently Joe Biden argued that America has an “obligation” to provide healthcare for undocumented immigrants.

But does Biden really believe this, or is these just words designed to give the voters a contrast between himself and Donald Trump.

Joe Biden is not the candidate the Democrats need to beat Donald Trump in 2020.

Should the Democrats choose Joe Biden, they will just be repeating the failure of Hillary Clinton masked in the face of Joe Biden.
