Tuesday’s biggest win for America is that the Trump Wall is dead. It is not going to happen. Sayonara to the wall. The reason? The House holds the purse strings to the nation. Without an appropriation from Congress, there is no money for the wall. Oh, and México is not paying for the wall.

There are likely some readers that believe Donald Trump can “deal” a wall out of Congress. But that isn’t going to happen. If Donald Trump couldn’t get a Republican Congress to fund the wall, there is no chance that a Democrat-controlled House will fund it either.

But like everything else related to Trump, there is the spin that the wall was partially funded. That parts of the wall are being built. The fact is that Congress funded money to fix previously identified broken border fences and to complete a previously identified sections of the border that did not have the fence completed. These were all previously identified before Trump took office.

To insinuate that the Trump Wall is being built is an outright lie.

What is funded is the continuation of the border fence that has existed for years on part of the border.

There is much spin as to who and what won on Tuesday night. The only true winner is that the symbol of hate that the wall represents no more.
