Donald Trump is about subterfuge. He has spent a lifetime creating a false narrative about his business acumen and success. Cohen knows or has been involved in the many business shenanigans that Trump has done. Whether they are illegal, or simply stupid, these business skeletons are what Trump fears the most.
This is because the exposure of the secrets won’t only hurt Donald Trump, but it will go directly to his business dealings, which hurts his family and especially his children. It also hurts Donald Trump’s ego.
