Another tidbit of information to become public at the latest sentencing is Linda Chavez husband’s attempt to manipulate the process in furtherance of the corruption. As if his wife’s public castigation wasn’t enough, Alfredo Chavez had to be called before the judge to be warned to stop interfering.

According to media reports, Judge Montalvo called Alfredo Chavez before him and warned him that any further interference from him will result in a complaint filed with the FBI. The media reports that Alfredo Chavez made false statements about the couple’s tax return to probation officers.

Readers should note that all of the public information known at this time seems to point to a very naïve wife, Linda Chavez, doing the corruption bidding for others. Alfredo Chavez, her husband seems to be in control.

If that is so, what kind of man would let his wife be publically humiliated for the actions, or inactions of her husband?

Dolores Briones, through her friends, is also trying to manipulate the system before her sentencing. I wonder how many more are slipping through the cracks?

This is just another nugget in the corruption of El Paso to ponder.

Tomorrow; what do Susie Byrd and Veronica Escobar have in common with Larry Medina?
