Hello all! My hope is that all of you are weathering the current global crisis healthy and with loved ones.

I have decided to step back from the El Paso News as I have too much on my plate.

But, the El Paso News is here to stay!

Miguel Juárez, PhD. has graciously accepted assuming the duties of editor and chief of the El Paso News. Miguel will be rebooting the El Paso News and it turning into a place where the information we need during these difficult times is made available to all without bias (cultural or otherwise) and without hidden agendas benefiting the few.

Please help me welcome Miguel.

Miguel has some exciting changes coming to El Paso News. In the coming days look for the reboot of the site and for information from Miguel about what his plans are.

In preparation for the reboot we will be removing all existing content and comments from the site. If there are any posts or content you want to save, please make a copy of it before the end of the day, today, April 6, 2020.

Miguel will shortly be making an announcement here explaining his mission statement, his goals and how he will manage your contributions to the site. What I know is that he has some exciting plans.

Thank you all for your support and contributions! I look forward to what the El Paso News has in store for us.

Best wishes,
Martín Paredes
