Donald Trump believes he is the “chosen one”. Clearly and without a doubt Donald Trump is about one thing – his ego. This is Trump’s Achilles heel – his vulnerability.

Trump is driven by his ego. The grandiose branding around his name. The ridiculous assumption that Greenland is for sale. The idea that only Trump can “Make America Great Again”. The idea that Trump can give himself the Medal of Honor even though he avoided military service with “foot spurs” demonstrates an individual driven by accolades, even fake ones. It all revolves around Trump’s ego.

This makes Donald Trump vulnerable, very vulnerable to being thrown out office.

Unfortunately for America – as in the Americas – everyone is too busy trying to milk the chaos to their benefit that Trump continues to destroy the country and the continent. The Republicans want to stack the Supreme Court and federal courts with conservative judges and do away with laws that impede economic growth as well as enact tax relief that they are willing to look the other way at Trump’s immoral behavior.

The Democrats are too busy trying to game the electoral system to take control of the Senate and the presidency while keeping the House that they don’t mind a few caged children along the way. The more controversy Donald Trump creates the more the Democrats feel that they can game the elections. For the Democrats, family separations, failure to enact gun control and the utter failure of the American ideal is just more fodder in their quest to take control of the country, whatever the price may be.

In the meantime, the United States has become a pariah across the world. The joke that other countries shake their heads at.

All because of Donald Trump’s ego.

Because the Democrats are too busy gaming the electoral system, they have forgone the one thing Trump cares about – his ego.

Trump fears impeachment, not because he could be thrown out of office, but, rather because an impeachment process diminishes his carefully crafted ego-driven public persona. An impeachment process would make Donald Trump lash out so violently that even the Republicans won’t have any other choice but to vote to impeach him out of office.

But that isn’t going to happen because the Democrats want control of the country and the Republicans want their judiciary and fake economic renaissance.

Some have wondered if God’s plan was to put Donald Trump in office. Trump has likely likened himself as the anointed one. The sad truth is that God’s plan is to let humans do as they will. And thus, selfish ego is driving Trump, the Republicans and the Democrats into insanity.
