The great takeaway from the second CNN debate last night is that Joe Biden is done. As expected he was targeted by the others because he is the front runner in the polls. The same polls that said Hillary Clinton would beat Donald Trump. The polls ask who is likely to beat Donald Trump. Biden is ranked at the top.

Why?

The establishment wants to impose Biden on the Democrats to fulfill some promise or party vision. It is a repeat of the Hillary Clinton fiasco that gave Donald Trump the win.

But Joe Biden is not prepared to be president. Last night he was there, but not really there. Biden failed to establish himself as the leader he purports to be. His Democrat challengers are friendlier than Trump would be. Biden was unable to fend off his Democrat challengers.

So what makes anyone think that Biden can beat Trump?

The same polls that said Hillary Clinton would beat Trump?

What is worse is that Biden refuses to offer a new road for the country. A different vision to correct the wrongs across the country. Biden has no clear solution to the criminal issues facing the country.

On immigration, it is clear that Joe Biden does not understand that even with Donald Trump attacking immigrants, Barack Obama – who Biden served – remains the president to have deported more immigrants than any other U.S. leader.

Likewise on climate change and world trade, Biden offers the solutions of the past that gave Trump the victory because of the dissatisfied voters who voted for Trump.

Last night, Joe Biden proved he should not be the banner carrier for the Democrats in the 2020 elections.
