Before anything else and on whatever side of the political spectrum you are on please note that I wish you and your families the very best in 2014.

That said it is now time for me to share with you my plans for my blog in 2014. As with any blog, the subjects I choose to write about depend heavily on the current issues of the day. As news breaks or information becomes available to me, I sometimes have to react to the event and comment about it. As much as I would like to focus on geopolitical and immigration issues, the El Paso leadership’s inability to acknowledge the corruption permeating through it forces me to write about El Paso political shenanigans. However, I will sometimes deviate and comment on national, international and immigration issues and sometimes I will even comment on technology.

Obviously, I will continue to connect-the-dots between the various individuals currently in office or aspiring for office and past shenanigans. There are many more dots that I need to connect for you. As part of that process, I will continue to update the El Paso Corruption website. The website is a Wiki of individuals that have been indicted, prosecuted, in prison or implicated in public corruption. One of the issues with public corruption is that people are afraid to name names because people are too happy to sue for defamation or libel in order to intimidate those wanting to discuss public corruption. They obviously seek to keep the discussion silent in order to allow them to continue to plunder the taxpayers. Unfortunately for them the truth is an absolute defense.

Poisoned Pawns

I am also in the process of creating a multimedia online timeline of the Poisoned Pawns FBI investigation into public corruption. As the final cases are finally adjudicated, I will launch the online timeline in order to give you the opportunity to see how the public corruption cases progressed, who were involved and how everything is linked together. Each event will link to the supporting court documents as they become available. The idea is to have a ready set place to access the public documents in order to answer the naysayers with facts.

However, keep in mind that the original Poisoned Pawns investigation was a look at Bob Jones’ various instances of public corruption and from there it snowballed into other cases. There are also various indications that there are still public corruption cases pending and some that are not being investigated but that were mentioned in the recent court hearings. As the court paperwork is unsealed, I will add it to the timeline. Although many of the subsequent cases were not part of the original Poisoned Pawns investigation I believe it is important to show you how they are all linked together.

Candidate Dossiers

Starting next week, I am going to begin to develop dossiers on the various announced candidates for the March Primary. As anyone that has followed El Paso politics knows the 2014 local elections will be determined at the primaries as El Paso predominantly votes Democrat. As there are approximately 87 announced candidates and only about 39 days where I can post dossiers, I will pick 20 to 25 candidates to focus on. Each candidate dossier will include any information that I have as well as any public information that I can find.

Know that there are many political operatives who read my blog. This is your opportunity to provide me the information on your candidate and their opponents. If I can independently verify the information you provide me I will include it in the dossier. So be sure to include as much information as you can so that I can verify what you submit.

Of course, I will keep you up to date on other issues that may arise between now and Election Day.

As we close out 2013, it is important that I express to you how much I appreciate your support. Some of you completely dislike what I have to write however you taking the time to read it and comment on it is appreciated by me.

More importantly though are the individuals that have taken the time to send me information and encouragement. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all of your help because without it this blog would not be possible. Although I can’t name you personally I hope that I have at least taken the time to thank you personally.
