The El Paso Politics has compiled exit data from early voters to take a snapshot of the possible outcome for the November 3 election for El Paso’s next mayor. The top four mayoral candidates are Veronica Carbajal, Carlos Gallinar, Oscar Leeser and Dee Margo. The data seen by us indicates that Dee Margo will be lucky to make it into the runoff after the votes are tabulated.

El Paso Politics Mayoral Candidates According To Exit Polling

As readers will note, Oscar Leeser is at the top of the mayoral race. The incumbent, Dee Margo, is polling barely above the other two challengers, Carbajal and Gallinar. Margo’s exit polling numbers started to drop at the end of the week pushing his campaign closer to Carbajal.

Bringing in the bottom of the top four contenders is Carlos Gallinar who is barely trending above ten percent.

Although Margo is losing ground, at this point is it does not seem to be enough to change the outcome between the two likely scenarios.

1. A runoff between Leeser and Margo, or,

2. An outright win by Leeser.

Regardless of those two scenarios, El Paso’s next likely mayor is Oscar Leeser, according to our data.

Tomorrow is the last opportunity to vote. We encourage everyone to go out and vote.
