A new video released by Becky Gonzalez on Facebook shows Laura Strathmann’s neighbor rebutting the excuse used by Strathmann for taking her opponent’s political sign. Strathmann is in a run off election against Marlene Gonzalez.
The El Paso Politics broke the news of Laura Strathmann taking Gonzalez’ sign, a violation of election laws.
The El Paso Politics reached out to the Strathmann campaign via her website when the story first broke, but did not receive a response from her.
However, on social media, Strathmann released a video tape of her neighbor stating that he had asked her to remove Gonzalez’ sign from his property. The original video, it shows that Marlene Gonzalez’s political sign was on the public right-of-way.
Yesterday, July 2, 2020, Becky Gonzalez released a video on Facebook of the neighbor describing the sign incident. In the video he acknowledges that he never asked Laura Starthmann to take the sign. Furthermore, the neighbor states that Laura Strathmann called him after the theft video surfaced and asked him to do her a favor, create the first video Strathmann used to defend her actions.
As of press time, it is unclear if criminal charges have been filed against Laura Strathmann.

Laura Strathmann should be ashamed of herself! I’ve known for a long time as many have, LAURA STRATHMANN IS A CORRUPT JUDGE! This further shows her dishonesty! Sad thing is days before she voice her opinion about how awful it was that her opponents signs are being stolen and vandalized and the culprit should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Why has she not yet been arrested? Is Laura Strathmann above the law. I know of far too many El Pasoans who have been abused by this judge. As far as corruption, it’s a known secret in El Paso that this judge is corrupt. If you don’t hire a friend of hers, your children are typically taken away. We must vote her out while we have the chance.

Nothing surprises me with a Laura. Already know her to ge dishonest, that goes hand in hand with being a thief. Did she lose the election or can we still vote? I know Marlene Gonzalez was running against her, anybody else? This is no surprise about laura in my book, my dad grew up with her and told me years ago what a lying woman she is so no surprise. Not add a thief to the mix. Terrible that she’s a judge. If the election is still running I will vote for anybody but her thief ass.
Well this is interesting! We got treated badly in her courtroom and our attorney withdrew saying he couldn’t help! He suggested we hire an attorney who is friends with Judge Strathmann. We were quoted $10,000 to start the case. Makes me wonder why we’d have to hire a lawyer friend of Strathmamm’s and how much of that money gets funneled to her for the win. Our original attorney who charged us $2500 was honest and explained that’s how the system works in “her” court. We couldn’t afford to hire strathmann’s friend as our attorney and our two kids were taken away from us completely. We haven’t seen our kids in over two years. None of her decisions made sense to anyone and our attorney said she was not following the law. The attorney my ex had was Patrick Brsmblett and come to find out that’s the judges ex husband and they’re best friends now. My children are suffering at the hands of Strsthmsnn’s corruption scheme! I hope she rots in hell where she belongs!

Laura is always caught up in corruption and lies. I remember a few years ago there were two brave attorneys that stood up to let people know how Strathman tried to get bribes to win the case for them. CORRUPTION NEEDS TO STOP IN EL PASO. Laura has a concerning pattern of taking children away from Mexican parents and giving them to the white parent when the circumstances are of a family of such. Laura is absolutely racist against Hispanics and it’s no secret at the court house.

FACT – just four months earlier Laura Strathmann was caught making a reference and I quote “Hey! Mexicans are dumb but they voted for me!” Then you can hear her chuckling briefly.
FACT – Attorneys have almost 78% of Brambletts cases end up in Laura’s court or get transferred in there even though there are several other family courts. He gets them in there and he wins! He’s a big donor, her ex husband AND still good friend!
The same attorneys she hangs out with and that have donated to her heavily, mysteriously keep winning in her court! Attorney have stated, unless you hire a friend of hers, you can’t win! Judges have been shocked at what’s happening in there but she gets away with it!
