Well it seems that no one wants to work for Donald Trump. As you likely know, John Kelly is leaving at the end of the year and Trump is having a difficult time filling the slot. Whatever happened to the “brightest” people wanting to work for Trump?

It is not as if Kelly didn’t believe in Trump’s agenda. John Kelly is against immigration. Kelly wants to make it as difficult as possible for immigrants as he can. But Kelly just couldn’t stomach Donald Trump anymore. Was it because of Trump’s impetuous attitude? Was it because Kelly didn’t like Trump’s public policy agenda? Or, was John Kelly just sick of the politics.

We will eventually know because like Rex Tillerson the truth will emerge. John Kelly has been quoted as calling Donald Trump an “idiot”. Of course, Kelly has denied it and likely will continue to deny it, but we all know the truth.

Kelly is protecting the institution and not the man by lying about what he really thinks of Donald Trump. Trump, unlike Kelly, is protecting himself by continuously lying about everything.

But what is the real reason no wants to work for Trump?

Is it because if his character, or, lack thereof? Is it because of the chaotic nature of the White House under Trump? Is it because of Trump’s public policy agenda?

Nope, it is much simpler than that.

Donald Trump has been referred to as “individual 1” in a criminal document filed in court. Trump has been accused of criminal activity, or activities.

Lest anyone believe that it is a “witch hunt” and that Trump is not really a criminal it is important to point out that eight individuals, and possibly nine if we include the Maria Butina purported plea agreement have pleaded guilty to crimes connected to Donald Trump. Remember that there are many more indicted and unindicted individuals that must still be prosecuted.

The bottom line is that people don’t want to be associated with a criminal.

That is why Donald Trump is having a hard time filling a prime job at the White House.
