Needy Latinos and the Manchurian Candidate … MIA

Hillary Clinton has done it again. She popped up for the third debate, had a rally or two afterwards, broke the law in North Carolina by showing her face at an early voting polling place to politic, and now she’s MIA!

What is going on? Is this a Michael Jackson scenario? Does she get anesthetized every night? We really need to question why the sudden short appearances then the long absences. Could be she’s scheming with PACS to disrupt Trump rallies, or with the media which have become her “lap dogs.” These same “lap dogs” enjoy being roped off at Hillary appearances; when she’s ready for them, they stand panting with their tongues hanging and salivating for the “bone” she will toss them to satisfy their anticipated treat.

I want to ask the Latino community a direct question: is this the person we really want elected? In her eyes we are “needy Latinos.”

She, along with the rest of the Democratic Party, manipulates the Latino community every two years. Are we following in the footsteps of the Black Community? For more than 50 years the Black Community has voted democrat. They have been a monolithic vote for the Democratic Party. Why? What has the Democratic Party done for them?

Hillary believes that welfare stimulates the economy. She will do nothing to lift them out of poverty. She will not improve education which will enable them to get jobs and finally have the ability to improve their economic outlook. Black leaders are now being vocal and honest regarding the Democratic Party.

It is with Trump’s campaign that they are now realizing the rich Black are getting richer at the expense of the Black Community. Many loyal Blacks are now abandoning Hillary’s campaign and voting for a candidate that promises change, true change. They are voting for a candidate that promises to do everything possible to lift them out of poverty. Blacks are voting for a candidate that promises to give them school choice, promises to give them an opportunity for jobs and an opportunity to climb out of the vicious cycle of poverty that their Democrat leaders have failed to change. Obama was to be their change agent and he failed the Black Community.

Is this the future of the Latino community? After all we are “needy Latinos” in Hillary’s eyes. Are we to become a mindless monolithic vote for the Democratic Party too? Are we going to be satisfied with welfare checks, government housing and all the social programs the Democrats offer? I am a proud hard-working Latina that will not accept that as my future or the future I want for my children and grandchildren.

Let’s not get caught up in being the stuck-on-stupid demographics that can’t think for ourselves and will allow ourselves to be led and manipulated by an individual (Hillary Clinton) that doesn’t represent our values, who has made the dollar her God and greed her master as we’ve recently learned through WikiLeaks.

  1. To put it another way, Democrats expect Blacks and Latinos to vote Dem. They make promises and tell everyone how bad the other candidate is during the election and then go back to doing what their donors want afterwards. Look at comprehensive Immigration reform and inner city poverty. From a negotiation standpoint the best way to change that dynamic would be to vote unpredictably. If a voting bloc Dems counted on voted another way it would get their attention. But if all blocs vote the same way the Dems expect nothing will change, except next time around both parties will make it impossible for outsiders to run.

  2. Which candidate would ISIS vote for? Wall Street? Big Pharma? Big Ag? The war industry?

We will get what these supporters want if their candidate wins. Simple.

Did you hear the other day that if elected Hillary wants Congress to give her broader war powers? The Democrats are all worried about Trump getting America into a war seems clear Hillary has plans to get us in a war too.

  4. Apparently Ms Carrasco writes for us to read her but is not interested in counterpointing her. If she is the face of the local GOP and the voice of reason for their platform El Paso will remain blue for a long, long time. Her nonsense reminds me of t RUMP’s non stop creating of facts and figures and statistics. Perhaps this blog should require that those given prominence should be expected to make sense or at least have a counterpoint. Perhaps the blog should solicit someone in the Democratic Party hierarchy to submit an opposing view. Beto O’Rourke perhaps?

  5. Ronald Hennes my opinion is mine, not the Republican party. Being part of the Republican party does not encompass me entire life. I do have opinions. I never submit an op ed on behalf of the Republican party. If the local party wishes to opine, they do have spokespersons.

    1. Amazing that you have “appeared” in this blog so often going “mano to mano” with the blogger and are just Jane Q. Public rather then a “leader” in the local GOP. Do you also share his flawed and counterfactual diatribe on Obama and the lack of progress on immigration reform? Doubtless you do not have an even better recitation of blaming the wrong culprit with misfacts as opposed to laying the accountability on right wing obstructionists.

    1. Her opinion is ALWAYS welcome. Supposedly that is what I was defending when I was in Vietnam in 1969 and 1970 in combat as a Corpsman with the USMC. And nice educated comment anonymous Take him back person. Your brilliance restores my faith in the wisdom of our citizenry.

  6. kathleen cardone destroys court record evidence in defense of its officers of the court. can you trust a judge that does this? she sends people to jail for minor infractions but cannot hold her own or that of the officers her court accountable. Should be removed. yes. corrupt judges should not be in any court.

  7. corrupt judges corrupt the core of the legal system. do not be afraid to speak out. they are not separate from anyone of us and bound by the same laws. we just need to call them out and show their corrupt ways.

  8. you start to wonder if it was necessary for kathleen cordon to have record evidence destroyed. why. hmm… to protect who….the colleagues that attend the christmas party?

Really ! You are are dumber than a box of rocks. No saying we agree with everything Barbara post be at least she can articulate her position and why she supports something with out taking it to a personal level with others posting here. You on the other hand never support any thing you post but it’s all covered by you just calling some one a name or making unsupported innuendos about others you disagree with. Typical feminist Progressive Democrat bull shit. If you blew your nose you would blow your brains out and have the critical thinking capacity of a gnat.
Yep Anita you are the poster child for El Paso stupid , El Paso proud!

  10. Only an idiot like Thomas would accuse someone of calling names then call a bunch of names. He must really be insecure about his masculinity.

  11. What have Democrats done for African Americans? Just empty promises? I guess we could ask the African Americans in the deep red states how well Republican policies have been working for them. Too bad the racial gerrymandering and lack of opportunity means many of them can’t even afford a phone. Luckily Babs was raised in some of those nice blue areas, so she has an education, a computer, and the literacy skills necessary to complain about how bad things are for Latinas under the Democrats.

Don’t worry Barbara, like Mr. C.J. Cary last week, I’m sure that Trump can count on your support even as you are forcibly removed from the country based on the color of your skin. Or maybe you feel that you are just light enough that you will be included if Mr. Trump has the opportunity to “Make America great again.”

Latinos might be “needy” to Clinton, but they will always be suspect — just like our federal judges — to Trump, no matter how white they think they are.

  12. Isn’t that something ? Someone that will slap you and tell you it’s to hit a fly on your face.

Are we understanding the same language ? I don’t know how many times Trump has to explain that he wants criminals of various nationalities out of the country especially if they’re unvited. If their own countries don’t want them to return…..

Regardless of Barbara’s skin color someone brown, so long as you are not a criminal and have legal documents there is nothing to be concerned.
