I received a request earlier this week from Lauren Toelle. She is looking for her birth mother and I agreed to profile her on my blog. Toelle was born in El Paso and is searching for any information that anyone may be able to offer her, regarding her birth mother.

Lauren provided me with the following information she has at this point.

Lauren was born on May 10, 1991 in El Paso. She knows that her birth mother’s name is Samantha. According to Lauren, Samantha was 20 years old when Lauren was born. Samantha travelled from her home in Poughkeepsie, New York to live with her aunt when she found out she was pregnant. Lauren believes that Susan is the name of her birth mother’s aunt.

Lauren goes on to write that Susan had planned on taking in Lauren when she was born, however she gave Lauren up for adoption after realizing that it might be better for Lauren to have two parents. Samantha returned to Poughkeepsie once Lauren was born.

Lauren reports that she does not know much about her birth father except that Samantha and he were “high school sweethearts” and that he was a bar tender.

Lauren wrote that she has a three-year-old son and is looking to “reconnect” with her birth family. She understands that “things could go wrong” but she still feels the “need to know where she came from.” She adds that she “needs closure.”
