Why would anyone come here for the news? YOU ARE NOT IN EL PASO!!! You will rely on news organizations that you criticize to get the information then call them liars. You are a hypocrite wrapped around a Catch-22.
Ignore Henry. He is part of the herd.
Good Riddens Joyce and take your herd with you. I wonder if her buddy, handpicked HR thomas is still there. The connection goes on to fort bliss. Dirty people.
I’m not part of a “herd.” I’m just trolling. I get “Google Alerts” and this “news” page pops up. I always come back for the amusement. Herd or not…hard to be credible in Florida when talking about El Paso. Especially when the only information this guy gets is from the same media outlets he criticizes. Am I the only one that realizes that? We’re not talking about quantum physics here.
Funny, but I found out about Joyce Wilson’s resignation from his Twitter feed and his blog. Florida or not and news or not he gives us information we don’t get anywhere else.
Commendable Kathy. So the Joyce Wilson resignation isn’t anywhere else? I saw it on the news yesterday and through social media. I just troll this page so I don’t go to the twitter feed.
I heard about Joyce Leaving in June when she told everyone on TV that she would stay through the end of her contract and then leave. Hell of a scoop martin!!! You only missed it by four months.
Birdie, the word is “riddance”. For heavens sake, please let the rest of your fellow spelling-challenged commenters know that is the proper spelling. *sheesh*
I welcome everyone to comment and share your point of view; especially of you disagree with me. However, there is no “grammar or spelling” police here. I ask that if you wish to criticize the content please do so by pointing out how you disagree. I do not want the comments to degenerate into flame wars about spelling or personalities therefore I will not allow criticism about individual posters. Focus on the message and not the messenger. Some of you will rightly point out that I refer to certain individuals as useful idiots and it can be argued that I’m violating my own rule here. Therefore it is only fair that I allow a little leeway when the comment is directed towards me. However focus on the content and not the personality.
Thank you all for your cooperation and especially your continued participation.
Martín
Thanks for trying to get the comments back onto the subject, Martin. I have quite reading some El Paso blogs because most of the material and comments are humorless, snarky jabs at others, with no attempt to provide back-up. Readers can agree or disagree with your conclusions, but I appreciate that you share your research.
Keep up the good work Martin. I follow your blog and appreciate the information you provide. It gives me another point of view to consider. God bless you.
It doesnt matter if she stays or goes. She doesnt make policy. That is for the campaign contribution class, all she does is what the campaign contribution people want….cough cough…excuse me…what the majority of our elected officials decide. Her job is to execute the plans that are given to her. Kind of like people being excited about Cook replacing Wardy as Mayor. So when she is replaced it will just be someone else performing the job of “just following orders”. Sorry to bring realism into this “celebratory” thread. Carry on…

Regarding Joyce, though she should not be setting “policy” she has done so. It is time for her to go.
