A money order is legal tender most places, especially if it’s from the USPS. Again, city employees are prevaricating and making excuses because they can’t do their job. If personal checks are okay and money orders aren’t, there’s REALLY something wrong. How many money orders are returned due to insufficient funds as compared to checks? How much money does the city lose by trying to collect on those bad checks?

It is sad to see the City is incapable of making a simple decision regarding the use of money orders how can we trust them with much more important decisions! The fact that attorneys are advising against public disclosure of documents that rightfully belong to the Citizens of El Paso is concerning.
